Junior Satiu Signs with Narbonne

Young Australian prop Junior Satiu has signed a 1 year deal with ProD2 outfit Narbonne for the 2015/16 season.

The 19 year old current West Harbour Pirates player has come through the Australian Schoolboys and Waratahs Under 20s programs and has become one of the most dominant props for his age. Able to play both sides of the scrum, Junior earlier this year made his 1st grade debut for the Pirates against Randwick.

Speaking on his move Junior said “I am over the moon to be given the opportunity. After having a couple of injuries this year i really wanted to play some more rugby and now to be given the chance at pro rugby at such a great club is awesome.”

Tim Cree Signs With Rotherham Titans

Congratulations to Tuggeranong Vikings Tim Cree who has signed a 1 year deal with the Rotherham Titans in the English Championship.

Cree, a backrower or lock has had a stellar few seasons in Canberra which saw him earn selection for the UC Vikings in their inaugural season. Consistent good form in the NRC didn’t go unnoticed and Cree was quickly snapped up by the Titans’ for their upcoming Championship campaign.

Speaking on signing with Rotherham, Cree said; “I am very pumped to be joining Rotherham, they are a really strong side consistently at the top end of the Championship and this is going to be a great new challenge for me playing in England.”

Chris Seuteni Signs With SC Albi

Congratulations to Chris Seuteni who has signed with SC Albi in the ProD2 for the next two years.

The big tighthead has had an incredible journey since his arrival in France two years ago from the Parramatta Two Blues and has already had a taste of ProD2 rugby with Aurillac as a medical joker in the 2013/14 season. Commenting on signing with Albi, Chris said “I’m really happy to get a the opportunity to join a great club on the rise and now i’m just trying to stay focused and have a big off season so i can hit the ground running come day one with my new club. I know it will be a good challenge for me to break into such a strong forward pack but that’s what will hopefully drive me to keep working hard. I’ve only heard good things about Albi so i can’t wait to get stuck in”.

A special congratulations must also go to Chris and his partner Cloe on the birth of their first child Olivier, we are all sure the next couple of years are going to be great for the family.
