The Queensland Reds have re-signed loosehead prop Pettowa Paraka on a 2 year deal. After a breakout 2015 season which saw Paraka earn 6 caps for the Reds, the 21 year old is now looking to cement a position in the squad.
Speaking on the signing, head coach Richard Graham said; “Pettowa has been with us now for the last two seasons. He continues to develop strongly in a very competitive position.” Paraka echoed Richard Graham’s comments saying “I can’t wait to really get stuck in over the next two years. I love it in Queensland and with James Slipper and Ben Daley also in the squad it will be a good test for me personally to try crack the match day team. They are great guys to learn from with loads of experience so I hope I can eventually achieve what they have for the Reds.”
